1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site with no tie to a government office. It does not store official criminal records, issue checks, retrieve files, or submit documents for a visitor.

Its function is to identify the Lauderdale County sheriff, criminal courts, ALEA CJIS repository, Alabama Sex Offender Registry, and other sources that hold records, along with independently operated search tools. Government disclosure remains subject to the Alabama Open Records Act and the criminal-history controls in Ala. Code §§ 41-9-590 through 41-9-645.

2. Rules for Using This Site

You agree that you will not:

• Break any federal, state, or local law while using this site
• Use information you find here to stalk, harass, or threaten anyone
• Base hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions on content from this site
• Try to break into our systems or gain access you are not supposed to have
• Run bots, scrapers, or automated tools against our pages
• Do anything that slows the site down or blocks other people from using it

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information found here or through a linked tool may not be used to stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or unlawfully discriminate. Alabama law governs the Alabama Sex Offender Registry, and misuse may carry penalties. Registry data supports lawful public awareness, not retaliation or private enforcement.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. We do not generate background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports of any kind. Neither we nor our advertising partners provide services built for screening job applicants, reviewing rental applications, calculating insurance rates, or judging creditworthiness. You agree not to use data from this site or any linked tool to:

• Decide whether to hire or fire someone
• Screen potential renters or housing applicants
• Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
• Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
• Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

Any legally permitted FCRA-regulated check must come from an appropriate official or FCRA-compliant provider, not from this website or its search widget.

Clicking one of those links moves you off our platform and onto one we have no control over. Text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Lauderdale County Criminal History or its content partners. Copying, distribution, modification, or derivative use requires prior written permission.
